All stocked items are typically packaged ready for dispatch within 1 business days unless the item is a special order item such as a Glider Pro 3 and it's accessories.

Courier & AirMail Options

We offer a range of international and domestic Courier Services for speedy and efficient delivery as well as the budget option of the much slower Standard AirMail.

Couriers

Apart from the consistent tracking and reliable service you expect from couriers, you'll also see much faster entry into countries as they quickly handle their own Customs entry unlike AirMail which is processed by Customs themselves.

Most Couriers (including UPS, Fedex and Fastway) do pickups the day after being packaged though others do take up to 3 days. 

Apart from Fastway and Aramex, all other couriers use a third party domestic courier to uplift the packages to their Sydney Distribution Centres. It's only once scanned in Sydney that your tracking will start to show movement.

After your shipment leaves Australia, you'll find it will get to you quite quickly. 

Standard AirMail - Estimated international delivery speeds

Standard Airmail uses Australia Post to get your package to Sydney where it is handed over to a third party for the freight to your country. At the handover point, we don't see any tracking until your Customs Service hands the package over to your countries mail service.

What happens typically, is the third party delivers the package to your countries International Freight Arrivals.

Fun Fact: While actually being within your country's border, until it has been cleared by customs, your package is officially in an international zone.

After arrival, most countries place your package into Quarantine as a measure to prevent their Customs staff from contracting the Coronavirus while clearing foreign goods. This quarantine period depends on your country but it could be just days and in some cases a number of weeks.

Covid-19: 

Due to the worldwide effects that Covid-19 has had on shipping times these guidelines may differ. Recently, courier pick-ups have taken 2 to 4 days due to Covid-19 measures. For this reason we cannot guarantee any quoted delivery time-frame.
The estimated shipping times generated are optimistic to say the least. Most courier shipments that quote around 2 to 5 business days are taking at least twice as long due to Covid-19 slowdowns. Couriers quoting 6+ days tend to not be as overstated though in the current pandemic, you still need to be prepared for around a doubling of the delivery time-frames.

Customers can cancel their order up until the item is dispatched. Payment gateways charge us a non-refundable fee and we take out 3.9% from the available refund.

Our policy lasts 30 days. This is a 'no questions asked' policy so if for whatever reason you don't like it then return it for a refund.

If 30 days have gone by since you received your purchase, then unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. For further details regarding a return please read the "Shipping Information" section below.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. 
Any non-refundable merchant fees (such as PayPal fees) together with a small administrative fee will be taken away from the total before the refund is processed.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable) such as items with obvious signs of use, any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. 
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he/she will find out about your return.

We send your purchase with tracked delivery. Typically once in your country it is your countries postal service that delivers your purchase to your address. You will likely find that the postal service of your country will give you more detailed information about your package. Use the supplied tracking number on your postal services tracking webpage for more details. If you are not available to sign for your delivery then you will need to make arrangements to pick it up.

Before shipping back your return you must contact us at the email address customerservice@scottymakesstuff.com to receive a Return Authorisation (RA) number. To then return your product, mark the received RA number on the address label (e.g. RA#34). Your return mail should look similar to below but instead with the RA number we give you:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of our original shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a tracked shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. You will also need to use a service that will get back to us within the 30 day return time-frame from your initial receipt of delivery.

Each country determines their own import laws and regulations, and unfortunately we do not have the ability to determine or quote any import fees, taxes, duties, or tariffs.

Our international shipping rates do not include any import taxes, customs duties or fees that may arise when a shipment reaches the destination country.

All applicable customs fees, taxes and duties are the sole responsibility of the customer.

As per Australian Consumer Law, we cannot and do not misrepresent shipments as “Gift” or devalue the total retail cost of a product(s) to avoid customs & duties fees.

Unfortunately, we cannot refund your original domestic & international shipping charges. Additionally, we do not refund customs, duties, taxes, VAT, or tariffs.

If you refuse a shipment because of unexpected import fees, the original shipping cost, plus any brokerage, customs, duty, taxes incurred by us on your behalf, as well as any return shipping charges will not be refunded.

The recipient of merchandise is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.

If a package is refused or returned to us due to inaccurate address information, determined undeliverable, or declined at customs, the original shipping fees are non-refundable. The buyer assumes shipping costs associated with re-shipping of merchandise prior to re-shipment.
